The staff has finished packing the small seed like tomatoes and peppers and large seed like beans and corn should be packaged by next week -if not sooner. Seed racks from Burpee, Crosman, Plantation, Weeks are in the store and there is a great selection for the early-bird gardeners. Some seed racks have organic and heirloom seeds on them too. Standard onion setts have arrived - yellow, red , white and oversize. Irish potatoes are due in this week depending on the weather. Seed starting supplies are out on the floor including plastic cell packs, flats, peat pots, clear domes, grow lights, heat mats, hand seeder, and potting soils. We also have Walls of Water and Hotcaps for those who want to get a jump on the growing season. New this year are single and double wheel push plows from Hoss -(American made ).Also new this year -garden wall art and hand pruners and loppers from Dramm.

Now this is COLD

Remember to feed the birds this winter, we have striped sunflower and black oil sunflower, Nyjer, safflower, crack corn, millet, peanuts, suet cakes and several seed blends. Our bird feed comes in 50#, 25# and by the pound. We have a huge selection of feeders too. Remember wild birds need fresh clean water in the winter too. Place warm water in your bird bath or old pie pan during the day and pore out at night.
Farm animals need high protein feed during cold weather and we have everything from rabbit food to horse feed, and call first to see if we have hay or straw in stock. Stock up on Rock salt and snow melt now, and don't forget the snow shovels.
